Casual or Formal?

What is the formality level of your wedding reception? Are you keeping things casual, or will it be a formal affair?

Next Question: Adults-Only or Kid-Friendly?

Or start from the beginning: Are you reception ready?

In between, I don't want people in jeans but don't need tuxes.

Semi Formal. I am not expecting Black tie, but something more business professional (men in suits and women in dresses, skirts or pant suits)

Casual. It's gonna be either a beach or garden wedding on a resort haha

Formal! I would be greatly disappointed if someone were to show up to my wedding wearing jeans.

Formal! Tuxedos for the groomsmen, floor length dresses for the girls. Our wedding website states a formal dress code as well. I know not everyone will show up super fancy, but I figured if the dress code is "formal", maybe the under-dressed will just be slacks and untucked dress shirts... haha.

Formal! I do love the look of casual when done right! (Jeans and dress shoes hubbahubba!) but for this we're keeping formal!

It's funny... on my first invitation I had "Black Tie Event" assuming that was just a nicer way of saying formal... but no! It's much fancier haha! Switching to just formal!

Fairly casual. The wedding party was all dressed up but the decor was pretty minimal

It'll be business casual at best. I even told my mom to stay away from formal dresses.

More semi-formal for us! we want guests to look good but they don't need to be dressed to the nines if they can't afford it.

Formal. I would hope that many people would dress up and look nice while going to a wedding unless it is a very causal event

We’re not setting a dress code, but we’re going for the daytime non formal garden party vibe.

We didn’t ask specifically for formal, but most will likely dress that way

Whoa - deja vu.... both... again...

We ask that people wear formal wear but bring a change of clothes for when the fires are a thing - wouldn't want people to attend my ceremony in jeans but understand that people won't want to wear formal attire near a fire.
