Cash registry?

Is it necessary for me to have an online cash registry, or are we better to just ask people to bring cash/cheque?


Also looking for recommendations on registry apps/websites that work in Canada (i.e. accepts CAD and/or can be linked to my PayPal).

    Hey! did you ever find a registry app/website for this? I'm currently looking into that myself.

    We're in the same boat - I've had my place for 11 years and he's had his for the same. Last thing we need is more "things", we're looking to make more memories now.

    This is not a first wedding for myself of my fiancé and we both own our own homes and don't 'need' anything on a registry - but we NEED a honeymoon.....what is the verbiage you say so not to offend anyone to say we do not have a registry but any donations to our honeymoon are greatly appreciated....?

    I also feel like no matter what, ppl will be offended......

    No it is not necessary to have an online registry. My husband and I asked our guests if they wanted to give us a gift that a monetary gift was best and all gave us money at the wedding
