Cape Veil and Birdcage? How many accessories are too many?

Hi all,

I need some opinions! I have decided that instead of a traditional veil, I will be wearing a tulle cape. However, I’ve always wanted to wear a small birdcage as they look so chic!
Is it overkill to wear both?

Ummm it sounds like a lot too me... but try it all on and see how you feel. depends on what everything looks like and how big they are as well

I think I would definitely need to see them together to make a decision. Trying both on and see how it feels altogether.

For sure try them out, but from the sounds of it it would be roughly the same amount as wearing a long veil but just broken up. Kind of like how a two piece dress is still considered a dress instead of a shirt and skirt.

You could try them both and see how it looks. And you could always swap them out during pictures. I imagine you would only wear the birdcage for photos and ceremony, do you wouldn't be wearing both for the whole night.
