Callia Flowers - opinions!

Abigail, on March 24, 2021 at 20:55 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7

I'm wondering if anyone has gone through Callia Flowers or is planning to and what your opinions are? As far as I can tell it seems really affordable and easy to work with. Asides from their centrepieces, I also wondered where else people would suggest budget friendly flower decor (mostly looking for a few for the ceremony and then fresh eucalyptus bunches for the table)?

I haven't used Callia Flowers personally. I did use another company for artificial flowers, centerpieces and money box rental. Costco is great for what you can get for the price. Another source is flower auction in Mississauga where florists have buckets full. You can check it out and the location.

Awesome, thanks! Yeah, I was thinking about Costco as well for the rest of the decor, since we wont really need too much floral decorations.

I was going to go with Callia until I found a local lady who was a bit cheaper. I order them every once in a while and the bouquets are always gorgeous! I recommend ordering a few, if only to figure out what sizes you want (I’ve heard some brides prefer to do Super Deluxe and Deluxe instead of Deluxe and Standard like they suggest). Also note that they come VERY fresh and lilies in particular can take a while to open up.

Some of them. I want to make mini bouquets for my three flower girls, and thinking of changing up my centerpieces to include them. Then hopefully I can return some or sell on marketplace.

Yeah, I don't mind the bouquets itself, they all seem really nice. Are you planning on still using the flowers you bought at Michael's?

I’m using them for my July wedding. I was going to do artificial- and already bought the flowers from Michael’s but a family member came to me and wanted to help with the wedding by paying for real flowers. I’m not sure where she found them but she suggested them. They look really nice , I chose which ones, they are priced really nice , and they deliver for a small fee. I’m assuming the cheaper cost comes because you can’t customize but I’ve decided to go for it.
