They totally can you just need to add chocolate sauce/flavoring!

For our two-tier cake my fiancé and I decided on vanilla with a strawberry compote filling. Basically, very similar to a strawberry shortcake. We tried a custard filling and a lemon filling but they didn’t really balance the same way.


We are hoping the fresh strawberries add a bit of brightness and yum to the cake as we are going very simple. The first photo is the inspiration photo for our main cake. Then I ordered a dozen vanilla cupcakes for the kids in attendance (green frosting) and half a dozen gluten-free cupcakes (white frosting) for a couple of my guests dietary restrictions. This way we have enough for guests.

Both of those sound fantastic! A third possibility is a lemon flavor - I've tasted wedding cakes with this and it was amazing!

Your happy with the flavour of the cake is what matters. Our three tier cakes had different custards flavours. They were phenomanally tasty, yet light.

We’re doing 3 single tiers and 3 different flavours:
Chocolate cake with coffee buttercream and salted caramel
Vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream and raspberry compoteLemon cake with lemon buttercream, lemon curd and elderflower syrup
Chocolate pumpkin spice sounds delicious!!!

we are in Alberta and our wedding is in NL and we aren't sure if we will make it home before the wedding in 2023 just because prices of flights right now are insane and super long 17 hours plus

but marshmallow fudge sounds amazinggggg what other flavors were in you box?

We got a cake tasting box from a local baker and she did a toasted Marshmallow fudge cake that was amazing!!
