Buttercream or fondant?

Buttercream all the way!! Don't care much for fondant.

I have to go with Buttercream. I have never been a fan of fondant.

I think we have decided against a cake (was never something i particularily cared about)...i think we will make a log cupcake tree and have some strawberry shortcake cupcakes with an assorted dessert table.

We may do a tasting.. just for fun. I'm unsure what the space we will use, has to offer in that department... primarily because we haven't picked anything LOL. They could say we have to use their catering company or they may say we have to supply it etc.So we shall see how that goes!

I am buttercream all the way ... I hate fondant ... cant stand it

We are doing different flavoured pies. 3 Apple, 3 apple caramel, 3 pecan and 3 cherry

Buttercream. I don't know where you're out of, but mitchell''s cakes out of Whitby... uses Buttercream. I THINK they will be able to achieve anthing you desire.

Buttercream is the one we chose and we found out it does not cost as much as fondant.

Buttercream. I do not look fondant even if it has a better finish look on cake

I agree that fondant is great for decorating! I just ate around it.

Very nice! Buttercreme to eat lol! But I still prefer fondant I think to decorate with! These are the ones I'm thinking of : just different colours!

I prefer buttercream icing! Fondant is not my favourite thing!
