Bridesmaids hair trial?

Miav, on July 19, 2019 at 15:44 Posted in Beauty 0 9
Do you think bridesmaids should get hair trials as their hairstyles will be different from the bride's?

thinking to have all my bridesmaids in a same hairstyle, so probably a hair trial for one of them?

I've only been a bridesmaid once, but I didn't do a trial for it. We were told what styles the bride preferred (half updo) and went from there! The bride and MOH ended up with updos and the rest of us had a variation of a braided updo (without any prior planning)! I'm on the left, right beside the bride:

When you go for your hair trail, maybe have the hairdresser (if they have time) to do the bridesmaid style on you at the same time so you still get a feel for it. If she/he is competent, they should be able to execute the style you have in mind even without a trial

I wouldn't do a trial. I haven't heard of bm's doing trails either. I would pick your style and just tell the this is something you can't do.

I don't think so, it's added money and time and they aren't the centre of attention anyway.

I think the bridesmaids hair will be fine without a trial. Just have a picture of what you'd like it to look like, and any good hairdresser will be able to execute it.

I think you can skip the trials for the bridesmaid(s) because when you go yourself for a trial you are also testing the waters basically with the hairdressers capabilities. The hairdresser I chose styled each of my bridesmaids hair perfectly without any prior practice. I was a bit envious to be honest - wishing my hair had turned out as good as theirs.

I didn't love what the hairdresser did at my trial, so I let her know the things I didn't like (politely) and changed it up for the wedding day. She has been doing weddings for over 15 years and is a hairstylist outside of weddings so I knew she was more than capable of achieving what we all wanted. (well except me because I am the pickiest person in the world).

I have never had a trial as a bridesmaid.
My step mom is doing a trial just for her hair because she wants to see it in her dress, but my bridesmaids I am letting them do whatever they want the day of

I’m not doing a trial for my MOH. I thought about it but it’s not worth it we both agreed.

I honestly wouldn’t bother with a trial for bridesmaids. I didn’t have a trial when I was a bridesmaid and my hair turned out good 🤷🏼‍♀️
