Hey ladies!
So I've been in a few weddings now and most of my girls don't love around where we are getting married and have to travel in and spend some cash to be here for our big day. I'm wondering what to do in terms of hair, makeup and nails. Do I pay for all? For some? Plus I would like to get them something for day of so we can match and take fun photos ...also we are getting married in November so I want to find some sort of scarf or something so I don't have popsicles for bridesmaids lol. I love these 6 girls with all my heart and they all have different financial positions. I was recently put in a bad bridesmaid situation regarding finances and I don't want my girls to feel how I felt and I want them to have so much fun on our big day! Just curious to get some feedback! Xox

    I have the same situation in regards to most of my girls having to travel. I am not picky for hair/nails/makeup being the same for the whole bridal party. So when I was booking my appointments I asked each girl if they would be interested in having someone do their hair/makeup/nails as well and advised them on the pricing. I told them they had no obligation to do it but could if they wanted. I had some girls who were more than willing to have someone else do their hair and makeup because they don't trust themselves, and then I have had some girls say they would prefer to do their own hair/makeup.

    Hi Rachel,

    I was in the same boat in regards to the girls and travelling. I paid for their dresses and accessories. They are responsible for their hair, makeup, nails, and shoes.

    I am paying for my bridesmaids makeup as I wanted them to get it done, they are paying for their hair and then if they want their nails done, they can pay for themselves as I don't really care if they have them done for the wedding or not.
