Bridesmaids dresses

I have bridesmaids in different cities and provinces as well. I have heard lots of great things about Azazie, so I am planning to use them. You can create a showroom and send an email invite to your bridesmaids. Then you can see what options they are considered, or you can add dresses to the show room that you like and have your bridesmaids pick from the dresses you chose.

They have the custom sizing option which is great. They also have a try on program so you can see if the style of the dress will look good on you. And they have matching ties for the groomsmen.

If you want your colours to be exactly the same, you can make sure everyone orders within 24 hours using the showroom code and they'll be the same dye lot.

All my bridesmaids live all over too. We used azazie with no issues! Some of my bridesmaids also have PO Boxes and they were shipped no problem. I liked that you could create a party on the site so that when the girls ordered, their orders would be coming from the same dying process (all colours would be the same).

That's super weird. I have multiple people that have ordered from Azazie and never had issues.

Including all my bridesmaids. But all my bridesmaids did the custom sizing option, not off the rack sizing.

Sorry that you had that experience. And I agree trying on in person is usually nicer.

But for some people it's not feesible or as easily done.

Personally our experience was great, as were my friends Bridesmaids for her wedding. And because of the custom sizes no one had to get alterations besides a hem. All our dresses were under $200 CAD after everything (Customs and shipping included), which was wayyyy cheaper than we could have got at any of the stores around here.

That really sucks that happened. Did you talk to their customer service about it?

I am still just astonished. I have talked to several people before ordering and no one ever had these kind of issues. That's so odd and really shitty.

Out of curiosity was this recently?

I chatted with an online specialist and she assured me the dress would fit me. I got the dress and it was massive on me. I ordered the smallest size possible. It also had a slit in the front (I ordered it for that) the slit cannot even be seen when wearing the dress. The fabric is so excessive. My seamstress had to take out so much and pretty much make a new dress for me. The other bridesmaids had similar issues. The sizes run super large. As a bridesmaid I just don't suggest ordering online. Trying on is so much better and that way everyone is happy with what they got. Also the shipping, US Dollar and customs/duties were insane. My dress after alterations is well over $300. I could have ordered a munch nicer dress that I would wear again for that price.

We ordered from Lulus. I sent the girls an email with a link to the dress I really loved, but I gave them the option to look around the site and pick their own in the same colour. But all 3 of them ended up going with the one I liked, so win!

One of the girls is in England, and isn't coming to town before the wedding, so we actually have to send her dress to her so she can get alterations done.

The girl who placed the order signed up for emails for the discount and saved everybody a bit of money. And placing the order as a group also probably saved them a bit on the shipping costs.

Yeah all my girls ordered different styles, and they all loved them. The quality was great.

I also love that you can get matching ties and etc.

Customer service was awesome too.

Definitely order the custom sizing. The girls that did, their dresses fit like a glove, no alterations needed... (Just make sure their measurements are accurate)

The only complaint is we got knee length dresses and some were a little long. That might no be an issue with floor length as they take a hollow to floor measurement.

And as well with custom if you do need alterations, they reimburse for part of it!

Two of my girls had their dresses hemmed, and got $45 bucks back each.

Also if you are ordering, it is cheaper overall to ship them all together.

We ordered from JJ’s House! They were totally affordable even after shipping and duty. Pricing on the site is shown in Canadian dollars you you don’t have to figure out the exchange. And when I had originally emailed them asking about shipping to Canada they told me that if I sent a receipt from the duty charge they would refund it! So there’s that . Although I’m not sure if any of my girls tried that lol. The dresses came in about 3 weeks and they are great quality! Oh and I got my colour swatches sent to my mail box within about a week . Definitely recommend them!

Is there a local business that you can have the swatches delivered to? I DK if it’s a small town?

I used David’s Bridal bc all of my bridesmaids are in different provinces. It worked out really well. Those that couldn’t make it into a store were able to provide their measurements and place the order that way.

We ordered from BridesMade and it was all perfect. Not sure about the P. O. thing though as I had it all delivered to my home address.
But they have tons of colours and they can make ties/bow ties to match the dresses!

We ordered off Azazie ! And they shipped to my P.O. Box just fine. You can also get free colour searches. and they have so many options !

Girls loved their dresses. Custom sizing was spot on After exchange. Customs and shipping they came in just under 200 CAD per dress

if You’re looking for less expansive. Lulus has some great options. But I don’t think you can get swatches.
