I went with shades of blush, I let my girls pick any dress they wanted (although they had to be long) and then they could pick whatever shade of pastel pink that suited them!

My colours are darker than this so the dresses are darker as well.

I considered pastel but decided it may make my dress look yellow AND it made some of my girls look like their skin was washed out.

Pastels are romantic and soft but I prefer romantic and bold which is why my bridesmaid dresses are red.
