I since I only have my MOH, I didn't have much choices to make. I knew I wanted a certain color but other than that, I gave her free range, as I wanted her to be comfortable and like what she was wearing. When we went shopping, I basically picked all the colors I liked from all the designers they carried (ranging from oranges to reds to browns and golds) and we settled on this gorgeous mahogany dress! My girl might be pregnant on my day so also wanted something she could grow in hehe

My fiancee chose a plum purple as our main color. Her MOH and bridesmaids got to choose their own dress styles as long as they matched the color (which was available for all 3 styles). Everyone was different heights and different ages (one 20s, the other two 50s), but they scored a huge bargain as all the dresses were on sale and were very happy to find styles everyone liked.

Everyone has the same dress for my bridal party - maid of honour is going to stand out with a bigger bouquet. I loved the colour of this dress and it was decently priced (under $150 if I remember correctly). I also wanted something with a bit of floral appliqué since my own dress has a lot of that and I didn’t love the simpler dresses I’d seen elsewhere.

I let my bridal party choose their dress style and where they ordered from. My only request was long and all the same material type (all mesh or all chiffon etc). I was open to everyone being in a different colour which would allow them to buy from different stores. These are the final choices - two will be the same dress from Azazie but different greens and then the MOH in blue from David’s

I think having them wearing different dresses but in the same color is a great idea! That way they will feel comfortable and not being stuck with a dress that they're going to hate wearing all day

Originally I wanted to have all of the girls wearing the same dress, the oldest of our girls picked a dress that they loved-the same dress! I thought perfect! this couldn't have been easier... it turns out my youngest has a lot of body insecurities that she kept to herself. Now that we have started looking at graduation dresses all of this come to light. So I am have asked each of them to pick their own dress that they will love but have kept the colour a dark navy....

I decided to go with blushing pink from azazie. I wanted a fairly uniform look but I let my bridesmaids pick their style within some guidelines I set in place. These are the dresses they picked out.

I went back and forth on colours for my bridesmaids at first I wanted them all in cinnamon and I was going to use the site azazzie but most of the girls wanted to be able to try them on first!

Then I saw this photo and loved it!! So we decided to go with David’s bridal, I thought there would be more options and the girls would be able to try them on! I went in with my maid of honour and we chose some dresses and let the girls decide between two options! ( they live in different provinces) so they went in on their own and just FaceTimed me the ones they tried on! It was a fairly easy process coming from my bridesmaids end but David’s bridal has not been easy to deal with a bunch of problems on there end and we are still waiting for them to fix some of there mistakes on a dress. But I won’t go into detail on that lol.
These are the dresses my bridesmaids chose!
That’s my bouquet lol that’s why it’s in the photo 😂 I just wanted to see how it went together when we were deciding!
Two of them are chiffon with the same slit and two are satin with the same slit! I was hoping that would make it look more uniform since the dresses are different colours!!
