Bridesmaid Dress Feedback

I love the steel blue on her complexion. and for me to say that is a big deal because i love purple it is actually my fav color and the color of my wedding theme. The girls will be wearing purple dresses, i have yet to start shopping.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! I actually went with the Iris after all….did some soul searching and realised the Steel Blue just wasn’t ever going to be “me.” Now thinking I might have my MOHs wear a darker purple, just to break up the pastel.

I also vote for the steel dress!

So here are my (subjective) thoughts:

Your MOH does not need to match you. Either dress would work as nothing clashes so I would pick based on what looks best on her.

The fabric on the steel blue dress looks better but without seeing how the iris dress sits on your sister, it's hard to pick. Do you have a pic where it only covers her face and nothing else?

In terms of colour, if you want more contrast between the wedding couple and the bridal party, go with iris. If you want a more uniformed look, go with steel blue.

Is the fabric on the steel blue dress heavier? If so, that might be a consideration depending on how warm/cool it gets in June where you are.

You are right, the iris dress is more typical of a summer wedding but if you're outside with the sun shining and the space full of vibrant colours from plants and flowers, it honestly won't matter if she's in steel blue. We had silver grey dresses and black tuxedos, a typically cooler palette, and it didn't make the scenery any less warm.

I love both colours and am having a hard time deciding…particularly with my fiancé’s suit being navy I’m a little concerned that there might be too much blue (and it might look a bit wintry?) if we go with the steel blue colour….but then is the Iris too pastel next to my dress? 😅 who knows lol!
I’m thinking maybe I’ll do the steel blue dresses, with purple bouquets and purple ties for the gents to give that pop of a different colour. Any thoughts?

I love them both! The steel blue pairs very nicely! But the purple reminds me of my MOHs wedding! She did dusty blue and purple together and overall it was very nice!

Definitely the steel blue. It compliments your dress and just goes together much better.
