Sooo long story short my dad and I are on the sensitive side and sentimental songs will make us bawl. So we want to do a more upbeat fun song. We love us some 1990-early 2000 country.
any suggestions??

What about "When Daddy Let Me Drive" - Alan Jackson. Super upbeat, you might be able to find someone to shorten it a bit too...
My dad taught me to drive, so it's where my brain went to first.
"My Wish" by Rascal Flatts isn't tooooo mushy... in comparison to all the other songs that literally cause me to sob... haha.
Also "Just Fishin'" - Trace Adkins.
