Hi ladies, I've opted not to have a bridal shower because both of us have complete households and we just don't need anything. Instead, I've organized a ladies' meet and greet dinner at a restaurant. Are any of you forgoing the bridal shower?

    No bridal shower for me! I am really trying to avoid anything that people feel obligated to attend and/or spend money on me.
    FH and i have been living together for 2 years now any have everything we need Smiley smile

    I am! By the time we get married I'll be 40 and we've lived together for over 5 years - we're not just starting out and as much as I'd love new stuff, we really don't need it. It just felt wrong to me so we're forgoing it.
