Bridal shower

Daniella, on September 5, 2017 at 21:47 Posted in Before the wedding 0 7
Hey everyone! Does any one have good suggestions on where to do a bridal shower? I don't want a fortune to be spent either. I'm thinking maybe around 50 people and a location that is in the GTA. Thanks!

If any of your friends have condos, most new condo buildings have party rooms with full kitchens!!!! And the room fee is is very reasonable usually. Also for a small amount of people you could try a nice restaurant. Some have special party rooms as well for events !!!! Good luck!

I like that idea too. However I'm most likely doing it in April. I'm getting married in June. So it may not be that dry! And I don't know anyone that can fit about 40 people in their backyard

I love the idea of a backyard shower or outside. When is the date you will be doing it?

My aunts did my shower at the Carruthers Marsh Pavilion in Ajax, down by the lake. it was beautiful, and there were about 60 people. I believe it was around $125 or so to rent. It was spacious as well. I know there are a ton of other rec centres, legions and pavilions in east scarborough (port union area) and in durham that are decent prices and nice.

Depending upon where you're located, community centres rent out venues for smaller gatherings. There are some in Pickering and Ajax that I know about. What about a curling club? Also, check various cultural clubs like the German club or the Ukrainian club.

Church halls are usually a good choice

We did our jack in jill in the navy club in Oshawa. It was very spacious, there is a kitchen there for food, lots of tables for guests to sit at, and plenty of opportunities to decorate! It was a decent price to I believe. We didn't pay for it though, as it was a gift to have the hall covered. I would call and ask!
