Bridal Party Dilemma

Brittany, on August 14, 2019 at 11:28 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7
Hey guys!

I have decided to have 2 MOHs in my party to help alleviate some of the responsibilities and to accommodate everyone’s time and personal life. My first MOH is my best friend of 15 years, she’s definitely a keeper. The second I was planning to have my aunt who is less than 10 years older than me, but I’ve been thinking that since I’m having 2 MOHs that I should maybe have someone from my fiancé’s family like his sister who is already going to be in the party.

My dilemma is my aunt has been part of every major event in my life but on the other hand, my fiancé’s family is very close so this could be a great opportunity to bond with his sister.

What are are your thoughts on this?

Thanks! Smiley heart

I agree with Tori, I'd have your friend and your aunt as your 2 MOH and have your FH's sister as a bridesmaid (which from the sounds of it, is already your plan).

Your MOH(s) should be the most important people to you - and it sounds like your aunt and your best friend are those people!

Well... I mean at that point to add one more wouldn't be too big of a deal IMO.

I would add the Aunt as a MOH and ask your Fiancé's sister to be a BM.

I do like the idea of seeing your aunt as a MOH though she could help out with anything you need and make your fiancée sister a MOH instead. Keeping your wedding small is good and easier since you don't have to make meetings with all your bridal party members.

We too chose to have just 2 MOHs only so that it was not much to worry about and having so many people to arrange and have to contact or deal with much more issues.

At the end of the day, its your day and your decision to choose to make your aunt the MOH and fiancée sister a bridesmaid. I only like to make suggestions that my best suit the dilemma.

There will be a total of 7 in the party, 2 of them being MOHs.

    I mean, add away!

Do you have any BM or just the 2 MOH's figured out?
