My wedding party for the bridesmaids will be wearing sequence dress (kinda silver goldfish) with red and white roses for bouquet, and red shoes. My mom has insisted we add red into the wedding color as my brother passed away two years ago and we were very close and that was his fav color. So for the groomsmen my fiancé has suggested. Light brown (fan) suit with royal blue button up shirt with red tie. I am not too sure of the color scheme if it will work. The red we are going for us like rich blood burgundy red. So you think the color scheme is off??

Has your fiance tried on this outfit yet? Even if you're not ready to buy or rent it might be worth having him or one of his groomsmen try the outfit on and see how you like it. Trying out a few different looks is important for men too, not just for dress shopping! Whatever look you decide, snap some pictures so you can compare them to the BM outfit. That way you'll be sure you like the look

Would a charcoal gray suit work to fit blue shirt and red tie? Colour combination might match better and to go with the dress colour too.

It sounds like it will work but you and your groom should go and try on that colour combination at the store and take one of the dresses with you to make sure. Once you see it all together, you'll know if it works or not.
