Ideally yes, but we haven’t gotten to that part of our planning yet!

Soo much drama and back and forths with mine im having my best friend and two sisters.. id love more friends to stand beside me but we are having a small wedding. he has two his brother and best friend. so 3 and 2 they will all walk alone as I really like that idea.

I'm having 5 on each side, although one of the girls is standing for the groom's side (as a groomslady), so while it is 5 and 5, it's 6 girls, 4 guys.

We had 2 BMs and 3 groomsmen.

I didn't want a bridal party because of the drama that comes along with it but my FH wanted to have three on his side. I asked my best friend since grade 6, my best friend since my early 20's and his sister. There has been a lot of drama that came with asking people to be a part of our day (and a lot of jealousy). I'm wishing we stuck with no party but I wanted him to be happy.

UGHHH I wish... I'm so OCD... but I have literally NO female friends, and my FH is Mr. Popularity with his buddies.

I have one of my sisters, my cousin (best friend), my FH's brother's GF (so a possible future SIL), and my high school best friend.... A grand total of 4.

My hubby has 8. He wanted 9 but I drew the line, at least justifying it in my brain that each of my girls have 2 escorts now... Eek. We've joked about getting him bleachers for his side of the aisle ...

4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I don't want to add another person so mine because I have the 4 most important girls standing with me, my FMIL says I need to "just add another" for the sake of matching but nope! And I'd never ask my fiance to take one away because they are his closest friends.

We're doing an even number. We wanted a small number on each side and to stick with those closest to us who have supported us and our relationship from the beginning.

Even for us 4 and 4 but on the weekend I thought I was gonna be 4 and 3 as my FHs cousin decided she didn’t like the colour I chose for the bridesmaids to wear purple among fighting with me over the dresses etc she backed out saying she couldn’t handle the stress or the running around. (I didn’t make her run around) But we are back at 4 now as one of my good friends that I lost touch with as she moved far away and than came back agreed and is super on board in just less than 24 hours.

Four bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen here. Only thing I find myself considering is the exit from the ceremony. Who walks with who and will someone walk alone or will there be three walking together. Which could work as two are my sisters.

We’re having 7 bridesmaids, 5 groomsmen. I don’t really care about it being uneven, what mattered most was that the most important people were up there with us. I couldn’t have imagined having to cut 2, or making my fiancé ask 2 people he didn’t want just to make things even

Yes, I can’t stand when things went even. I was happy with three but my FH is friends with everyone so know we are 5 and 5. And that was me talking him down a few ppl 🙄

I initially had 4 bridesmaids so it was even, but it just didnt feel right without my 5th. So i decided to ask her and i have no regrets!

You betcha! 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. It was more important to us to include everyone we wanted to stand with us than to leave someone out for sake of being balanced on each side or adding an extra person to the wedding party that we didnt really want there.
