Bridal Bra

Stephanie, on February 1, 2020 at 10:27 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 9
Has anyone ever used a bridal bra?

The dress I am wanting is backless and I am wanting some support and push up and am not sure of the best sticky bra that would have push up as well and stay up all night?
Thanks!

I purchased sticky bras from the company BOMBA and I love them! The adhesive/stickiness definitely lasts all day and adds some lift to your bust line.

I would not suggest ordering from The Bridal Bra website. I received mine today and the quality is not great. The adhesive doesn’t stick for more than a minute and would definitely not last all day. For reference I am a 36B and followed their sizing chart. Size-wise it was fine but the quality was just very disappointing. There is also no customer service available and no refunds, so you are stuck with the product.

Check with your seamstress to see if she's able to put bra cups into your dress. My seamstress is doing that with my dress since my back of my dress is v-shaped

Do not wear a bra. Get the cups sewn in. Wedding dresses aren't like other dresses. They have much more structure and support built in.

Either get cups sewn in, if that's an option, or go to your local bra boutique (I'm not talking about Victoria Secret or La Senza). There's a few highly rated ones near me, and they know so much about what will work and what won't.

My dress was backless (enough that a regular bra would be obvious), but being a DD, I knew I'd wanted extra support. I had my seamstress sew in cups from a bra I brought in and it worked great! No worries of a sticky-bra coming un-stuck!

I haven't used this brand. I bought one at aerie for dress shopping and honestly it was a disaster. It didn't stay on well, and parts of it still showed for the dresses I tried it with. After about the third attempt to reattach it I gave up and went braless for the appointment.

My seamstress says I should be ok without a bra but she did recommend double sided tape to keep the straps and the neckline in place. Have you spoken to a seamstress? They might have recommendations or be able to add support inside the dress.

This is the one I've come across online but no Idea if it works or not.
