Hey ladies! Just wanted to share how amazing the ladies at Bridal Boutique are! Please let's stay positive in this post as they did such a great thing for me during this past week! So my dress came in on time but you have to go in before two weeks that way if anything is wrong they can send it back to be fixed. So needless to say, I booked an appointment for today (December 16th) as the dress was confirmed to be shipped and should have been in by the beginning of the week. Side note: I fly to Ontario in less than a week and couldn't go any other day). Anyways, UPS had some issues with shipping it and it was in Ontario on Monday. So needless to say these ladies fought hard and kept calling to check on the status as they had been misinformed from the shipping company as well. So needless to say, UPS came before the store opened yesterday and weren't going to come back. The ladies at the store said no you need to bring us that dress now that it was super important it came in then. So they got my dress and the dress is amazing! So they will definitely follow through with what they say! *I've heard of a couple of negative comments of this store but want to share my great experience.

    Yes it really bugged me that people blame the store for something that may be out of their control. Haha yeah the bridal industry can be competitive! They were probably just joking around, but then who knows lol.

    Once I thought about it, I realized it was really the manufacturer they were complaining about! The staff concerns didn't bother me because I had a great experience with all the staff I dealt with. My only thing was it felt like the lady I had when I ordered the dress was bragging at how much better she was at tying the corset than the lady I had when I first went to try it on! But, it was nothing to be concerned about; I think she was just trying to point out how it hugged my curves.

    I know!!! I was a bit worried too! But I guess as soon as one person has a bad experience it blows up (same with any retail business). A lot of people were saying that their dress was taking longer than they stated, when in reality (as long as it was ordered when they said it was) it is not their fault, a dress takes quite a while to make sure it's perfect and I would prefer my dress to
    come in that way. And someone on Facebook actually said well if it takes longer than I shouldn't go there, I commented back well why would you blame them? It's technically the manufacturer that is taking their time, it's not like they are hiding your dress in the back not telling you about it. Lol she didn't know what to say after that 😜

    As to alterations, to be honest, I'm unsure! I am going to get a quote first and see! I may just go and see a lady who does it from her home (I think my bridal party will go as well, maybe she'll give us a deal?). My bridesmaids ended up getting their dresses from bridal house as that was the only place I could find the style I loved.

    So glad to hear about your experience! I also ordered my dress from them and my MOH said their were so many horror stories on facebook about them so I started to freak out about a bit!

    Are you planning on having them do the alterations or go somewhere else?
