Bouquet Toss? Keep or Cancel?

Keep - I'm going to make a tossing bouquet. And I'm not gonna do that BS thing where you pretend to toss it but you really just get your single bridesmaids to block everyone and then toss it on the floor in front of them.

I won’t be tossing the bouquet, but I will have a small version made and give it to the couple who has been married the longest. This will be my grandparents. I always hated being singled out at weddings for the bouquet toss, and some of the weddings I attended it got vicious!

Keep. This could change, but both me and my FH agree absolutely NO garter toss. There aren't many single ladies, but, at a wedding I went to, the put a new twist on the tradition I liked: If a married wanted to try and caught it, it just meant luck for the next year of their relationship. I thought it was sweet and a nice inclusive twist to keep things fun.

Definitely creating a toss bouquet. Given I don't have the best luck at throwing things, I don't want to to accidentally knock someone out with a large bouquet (and I want to keep my bouquet! )

One wedding I went to, women were asked NOT to catch the bouquet when tossed, as the bride wanted one of her girlfriends to catch it. I thought that was a huge buzzkill.

Cancel - one of my bridesmaids was looking forward to it actually but she's made her peace with it.

One of my bridesmaids is already saying she's going to catch the bouquet so we're probably keeping this one. Though we aren't doing a garter toss so is it weird to have one and not the other?

Probably cancelling. There will be a very small (like 3) amount of "single ladies" at the wedding so just seems awkward to me.

Amusingly, my mom thought I was going to throw my bouquet at one point. It would have been absurd (who is going to catch it, my 14 year old daughter? I don't think so!). I don't like the bouquet toss anyway, what with it aligning with a very heteronormative mindset that marriage between a female (who catches the bouquet) and a male (who catches the garter) is the ultimate goal.

Cancelling. We don't have enough single people at the wedding to have enough of a "group" I think we only have 3 or 4, and they are all younger (16 -20)

We're canceling this one. Not going to be many single people there.

Cancel! We only had a few single ladies, but they were mostly mature women (aunts) who were widowed (including an aunt who's husband passed away only a year prior).
