Usually bouquets won't have water that you carry around with you. They might be delivered in a vase so they can be stored in water until they are ready to be carried, but usually in a bouquet the stems are just cut and wrapped, no water. If you want to display them at your reception, maybe on your head table, you might ask for vases for them. You can also talk to your florist about what flowers are hearty, especially if your wedding is outdoors in a hot climate for example.

Have you found any inspiration pictures you like yet? Are you considering fresh flowers or faux?

For sure look into whether you were wanting live flowers, synthetic flowers, or maybe something avant-garde! If you do chose to go with live flowers - then you should be looking into what flowers are in season during the time of your wedding, what colours would go well with your colour scheme, and how much certain types will cost in order to stay in budget. There are little stem water containers - but to me they just seem a little unnecessary seeing as how the bouquet is only for one day and they will eventually die (just not in the span of one day!)
