Best or worst day?

Alishia, on April 9, 2020 at 15:11 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 11
If you were given the opportunity to have you DREAM wedding! Everything would be absolutely perfect and EVERYTHING you imagined but there was only ONE day that you could have it....would you if that day was Friday the 13th?

I for sure would - besides, I find the number 13 to be lucky... I was told that the number 13 was to ward off evil and therefore 13 is a lucky number... Google would back me up on that too Smiley tongue Only in Western norms is the 13th considered unlucky.

We have so many out of town guests that if we have it on a Friday it gives more time for us to visit Smiley smile venues may be cheaper

The wedding day is the best day for couples to look forward celebrating the love as a married couple surrounded by their loved ones.
Friday the 13th for some may not be the day if they are superstitious believers. Its still a great day no matter what happens as we did get married on a Friday too.

Probably not only because the majority of our guests wouldn’t be able to attend a Friday wedding without taking time off work - but that would be the only reason why it wouldn’t work for us. We want to celebrate with our loved ones.

We picked a Friday too! It was so much easier to get our photographer, and other vendors have been so relieved when they find out.

Thank you Smiley smile we are looking at a Friday wedding for a few different reasons, one being that it will give our out of town guests that extra day to stay and visit with the family we dont get to see all the time Smiley smile We also have his whole family coming from the UK and have a very select few dates with August 13th being one of them!

You could get married on Saturday the 13th and eventually your anniversary would be on Friday the 13th too. The anniversary will only fall on Friday a few times in the next few decades!

I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you have some very superstitious family no one will be bothered by the date.
