Do people still do the baskets of products in the bathrooms?

Nice idea that doesn't happen much. The guests usually use whats provided in the washrooms.

I would skip the cost to not have more than needed to pack up.

I did baskets for men's and ladies. Everything was used !!
Ladies - nail file, tampons, sanitizer and moisturizer, band-aids, condoms, Bobbi pins, tums, Advil, floss & mints.
Guys were the same minus a few feminine products but more condoms.

Nice idea but I have rarely seen them used. If you do it, get products that you like so that you can use it after. Also, check buy and sells as I have seen brides try to sell their unused (or mostly unused) baskets.

I love these! I've given this task to one of my bridesmaids with a budget of $30.

I think it depends on your venue. If you just have portapotties or something it may be a nice touch.

We've prepared baskets for the ladies and gents washrooms. It's made up of all dollar store and some Walmart stuff. My MIL told us about these as she attended a wedding and people were using them. I thought it was a brilliant idea.

And if we are left with stuff, that's fine. It's all travel size items anyway Smiley smile

I like the idea of this! When searching for a venue, one of the added bonuses of my favourite venues were private bathrooms for our guests (as opposed to shared with the event next door).

I think I'm going to do them as a courtesy but likely won't spend more than $15-20 on a basket (ie. all Dollarama/DollarTree items).

We skipped them as we ran out of time with final wedding details! ☺️

I think they’re a fun touch but definitely not a necessity!

I did them for our wedding. Some of it got used, but mostly we were left with a lot of travel size toiletries to use, lol
