Bar Service

Momofbride(Kim), on August 25, 2018 at 19:25 Posted in Wedding reception 0 3

Anyone in the Edmonton area using a Bar Service rather than their caterer for an open bar? We are looking for suggestions and trying to find the best option for our daughter's wedding, but getting people to return phone calls or emails is practically impossible, and I just feel that doing it through the caterer is the expensive option! Suggestions?

It’s peak wedding season and in a major city most venues are doing 1-3 weddings a week. Give the vendors time to get back to you. My wedding is 40 days away and it still takes me a few days to hear back from some vendors right now.
Before ruling out the caterer I would price out everything else you would need. And also check your catering contract because some can have clauses that you are required to go with them for all services they offer.

Are you able to bring in your own bartenders? Some venues you have to use theirs. I don't know much about bartending service, because we used our venue, but check out some of the wedding buy and sells on Facebook. I've often seen bartenders advertise their service.
