Band or dj

Live bands are very expensive and we went with a dj.

We are having a DJ. found out more budget friendly for sure

We will be having a DJ. Seems to be more budget friendly, they can play pretty well any song you request, and we are also limited on floor space.

I had a DJ, we found that DJs were more affordable in our area, and we also felt that a DJ could play a greater variety of music genres. If we had had an unlimited budget I would have liked to have live musicians for the cocktail hour and maybe during dinner, and then switch to the DJ for the reception (I love me a good dance party!)

We hired a band, but there a declared state emergency the day of our wedding because of Hurricane Matthew, so the band wasn't able to make it However - the entertainment agency we had hired the band through found us a DJ who showed up and literally saved the day!

I'm normally #teamband because I think live music is so fun for dancing and the overall ambiance, but I'll never forget the DJ who saved my wedding!

We are having a DJ and a bagpiper - The bagpiper will play as I walk down the aisle, and at the end of the ceremony as my hubby and I walk up together. The DJ will pay music during all other parts of the ceremony and for the rest of the wedding. I personally prefer a DJ to a band!

That's what I though, Carol. But my FH is a bit of a stick in the mud. He didn't want dancing because he has had a knee replacement and a childhood foot injury which causes him to trip. He's a very proud man and didn't want to make a fool of himself. But I love the music so I'm going to pay for it. It makes me happy and after I tell him, and he has his little hissy fit, he'll understand that it makes me happy.

I'm hiring a DJ. I wasn't going to but I've changed my mind. I'd like some dance music after dinner even though my FH didn't want dancing. I think the guests would enjoy it.

We will be having a DJ as we have specific songs we want to have played. plus they do the Emcee-ing which is great
