I'm doing DJ but they offer live music as well. So Dj for dancing then they are live music during cocktail hour, first dance, father daugther dance and mother son dance. I got lucky and found them on kijiji.

I did a DJ, it was less expensive and also got all songs wanted. Didn’t have to worry about something happening and one person not showing

We decided on a DJ. It's less expensive than a Band as many have commented, and you can get a different variety of music.

Our DJ is also going to be acting as our MC which helps Smiley smile

We're going with a DJ because it's significantly cheaper than a band AND our venue has screens that we must hire a technician for (our in-house DJ price includes the price of a technician), so that made the decision for us.

We went with neither. Decided to save a bit of money. Although, my fiancé is still on the fence so we may end up hiring a DJ!

We didn't have either really. We just downloaded a whole bunch of music onto an iPod and plugged that in.

Our friend offered to DJ our wedding for free shortly after we got engaged - we would have had a DJ anyways though since we find DJs to be a lot of fun and give you such a wide range of options when is comes to music. He said our guests can requests songs and I like that too. I’ve actually never been to a wedding with a band so maybe I’m just biased haha

We went with DJ. 1) my dad has a coworker who does it on the side so its cheap. 2) ive always enjoyed DJs more than bands when Im a guest at weddings. I feel like bands have to be SUPER awesome for me to love them, so I didn't want to risk it.
