Backyard wedding

We were originally going to have it at home in the backyard, but guest list became too big. However, we are still having a pig roast. It's a little unorthodox for most people, but if you like bbq, I'd suggest it. Also, look at places that will cook things for you and you just have to heat up and hire servers. Might also help the expenses. Think out of the box.

Our budget is small ..were covering all the costs ourselves but its definitely worth looking into!

Can’t recommend City Farm enough. They are my personal caterer for my own wedding and I’ve worked with them regularly at my job ( work at a wedding venue also my FH used to work under Scott) They have the most professional and passionate crew. Also LOVE Kreative Katering. Kara is wonderful - they also have two food trucks in their. I attached a picture of a KK menu one of my clients had. AND OMG Blend Catering Co. the owner Erica is the sweetest person on the PLANET.

Caterers around the GTA area will offer their services based on what you want served food and drinks wise. Travel fees may come as an extra charge due to location. Comparing 3 Catering vendors pricing providing your menu and serving rental/glasses quantity.

We're having a back yard wedding too! It's always been my dream to have a back yard wedding so I was over the moon when FH's mom offered. But we're having the reception at an indoor spot just in case weather doesn't cooperate. Our caterer is City Farm Catering and they're absolutely amazing, just a little more on the pricy side, but my parents weren't willing to compromise so that was that lol. They have a 3 course plated dinner, along with tea and coffee, and then a late night snack, they also provide the servers, and if you require bartenders then they do that too, as well as table set up and tear down. So when all that's considered, it's not such a bad price in the end, and they're all about promoting local farmers which was a huge plus in my book.
