Artificial flowers

Charlotte, on July 8, 2020 at 16:24 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3
I am thinking of doing artificial flowers, at least for the tables, maybe real flowers for the bouquets. I don’t know much about flowers, so any tips are helpful, specifically places to purchase artificial that look real. Below are some pictures of my vision and inspiration - first 2 are colours, last is what I want to do on the tables.Artificial flowers 1

Rentals are a good source to choose knowing they have the flowers in stock and your centerpieces too for table décor. The longer floral is nice to have for the head table décor. I know a place that I went to personally and had money box too available for rental. The location is in Mississauga.

Decorators can have them available though they may be charging little more depending on what variety is chosen.

My fiance and I had talked to a few florists in our city to see what their options were with artificial flowers. When we did pick our florist, we went in and bought our flowers right then and there since she had them in stock. She had written down exactly what we wanted for centerpieces, our bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. When we need to have them made up we just have to bring them back to her and she will put them all together! Our flowers we had purchased look so real and feel real! You just have to find the right person for the job!

For my bouquet and MOH bouquet we are having Calla Lily, Anemone Flower, Leaves and Berries.

For boutineers and corsages it will be Calla Lily and Berries

For our centerpieces we will be doing Hidrangeas, Berries, Anemone Flower and Leaves in a round glass vase.

Here's a little sample of what they look like, they're still in the boxes

We're hoping to get them made up in the next month or so! I'll show you the finished product

Talk to a wedding decorator as most have artificial flower options for a lesser cost that real ones. And these are usually rented to clients so they're in their warehouse, as opposed to sourcing them from a florist like real flowers. You can search decorators in your area or ask your venue for a list of preferred suppliers.
