Are your bridesmaids choosing their own dresses?

I'll be letting my ladies pick their own I want to have mismatched, so I'll give each girl a colour once I finally decide and just ask that it be long and similar to the colour. I have a couple out of country, so I'll get them to send me pictures just to make sure I'm happy with their pick, and then will probably go with my other girls, or drink wine together while they order one online lol

I had thought about doing mismatched but thought it might be challenging to find dresses all in the same shade but different styles. It ended up working out though because we found a dress that everyone loved! (I wish I'd bought one myself.) It actually wasn't even from a bridal store and we found it around Black Friday so we were able to get a great deal!

Bridesmaid Dress

I am letting them pick their dresses as long as it is the same length and color. Our color is gold and my hope is that we can have mismatched bridesmaid dresses.

Yes! I mean, I only have one, so I asked her to choose a Green or Yellow dress that isnt ugly.....I'll have veto if she picks anything I hate, but I want her to be comfortable!

That has been my least favourite part of being a bridesmaid- I will wear WHATEVER you ask, and put on a darn happy face the day of....but please be considerate of people's comfort levels in certain styles! A dress you dislike is one thing, but a dress you spend the whole night trying not to fall out of because a bride didn't want you to alter your dress (to secure the ladies!) is a bit unreasonable.

Yup!! I told them a general colour range and let them do the rest, they either told me when they wanted to go shopping or sent me pictures from the store (if I couldn’t go). Only 1 BM left to get her dress now

I let my girls pick their own! They are the ones that have to wear it and pay for it so I wanted them to choose something comfortable and not too tight and also something they were good with price wise ! If I absolutely hated the dress then I would tell them definitely not but luckily all 4 agreed on one dress and it was the one I wanted them to choose
