Hi wonderful wives-to-be Smiley heart

There are so many stories and movies about people just deciding to crash a wedding... Smiley ups

Are you scared of wedding crashers?

Do you think someone would come uninvited to your wedding?

How would you handle that? Smiley winking

Unless somone brings an uninvited plus 1 I wont have to worry about it as my venue is a large out of the way ranch.

I am not worried, we are a bit of a drive for anyone that wants to come wedding crash ... and I am pretty sure their would be some people that would remove said wedding crashers if they did show up !

I am not too worried about wedding crashers. We have just over 100 people on the guest list which includes most people we know. If anybody does show up though that isn't meant to be there security will take them out.

I have already spoken to the banquet hall owner of who I want security to keep an eye on during the reception as well because there are some people I don't trust when drinking as they get stupid but they are part of my FH's immediate family...This is what I am more worried about!!

I'm not too worried about it, that's the joys of a smaller wedding. With 60-80 people I'll notice if there's someone I don't recognize in the group

I am a little nervous about wedding crashers but I did come up with a plan. All guests will be getting a item in their invitiation which they will be required to carry as proof of attendance and if a person does not have it, I will have security escort them out. It should be interesting to see what happens on our wedding day.

I am not really worried about crashers at the reception, anyone who might showup is already on the guest list as far as I can think.

We are having a private ceremony and I have had a few friends say they might just show up anyway because it is in a park. This would be an issue becasue our permit does not allow more than 20 people, and I will be very upset if we are ejected from our ceremony site for violating the permit. I have asked them to respect our wishes, so we shall see...I hope everyone does.

I was a little concerned about wedding crashing but forgot about it the day of the wedding! Initially I was worried that my dad would show up even though we're not speaking because he had showed up to my sister's grad even though he wasn't invited but I think since it was in another country that helped to deter it. If he did show up, my family and friends knew that he was not supposed to be there and would have gotten him to leave. (He did actually have a card sent to our hotel room the night of the wedding even though I've told him on multiple occasions not to contact me. Also one of his cousin's who I've never met emailed me through our wedding website on the day of the wedding saying that "oneday I will regret not inviting my own father to my wedding" and that it was "shameful." *rolls eyes* I have never met this woman and she doesn't know anything about us or our situation. Luckily I didn't see the email and was in such a good mood that it didn't ruin my wedding!)

We also had one guest who was really pushing to have her son's gf attend and asked us about 4 times. She reached out 2 weeks before the wedding (clearly if you haven't heard from us, she can't come) and asked again and I told her that unfortunately we were not able to accommodate any additional guests but that we looked forward to seeing her and her family at the wedding. I was a little worried that they would just bring her anyways but they didn't and her son didn't even seem to mind. (One of my sisters did say though that she made a comment that her son would have dance more if his gf were there with him. Oh well!)

We did have one crazy person apparently stand at the door to the room where we were having the ceremony. I didn't see it so at least they didn't make a scene!
