Are you DIYing your seating chart?

Cliodhna, on February 24, 2020 at 09:05 Posted in DIY 1 20

How are you planning on displaying your floor plan for the wedding reception? Will you create it yourself? Or do you plan on buying/renting something?

Are you DIYing your seating chart (or escort cards)?

Mostly. We bought an old easel and mirror and wrote people's names on them.

Mostly DIYing....like most of the stationary or stationary-related stuff in our wedding, I am designing it and printing on Vistaprint.

I think this is what I am looking forward the most though because I what it to be like a star/night sky chart. It's going to be so much fun to make up Smiley xd

Likely gonna DIY it, haven't really thought about how to actually present it so that's a work in progress, but I feel like I wanna do something unique so we'll see what I come up with :p

I'll be making place cards and setting them on the table coming in. They will have each person's name and their table number on it. I found little arcylic ice cubes that the name cards sit in. Are you DIYing your seating chart? 2

We are doing our own seating card and place cards as well, we just haven't decided on a design/style quite yet. Our deadline for RSVP's is the end of May, so we still have some time.

    I DIY mine!

I had family collect wine bottles for me. I removed all the labels, and bought blank wine labels from Amazon.

Created my seating chart, and made the labels with each table for one bottle of wine.

My husband designed the seating chart and then we sent the design to Walmart and got it printed as a poster

I'll be making our seating chart. I've got the design down, just need to know RSVPs before I print it. I kept it super simple though for easy reading

I'm making our whole seating chart - the frame, florals, table lists. Everything. Also making all our place cards.

Neither - we ended up skipping a seating chart due to the amount of no shows/ last minute cancellations.
