So I had my hall booked and everything for May 4th. Hall called yesterday to apologize about accidentally double booking that day. I have April 20th as the only date available (luckily absolutely no one cares on my 70+ list it's Easter)
I feel the only thing I need to do left:

Marriage license
Guys suits
Hair and makeup trial
A few more decorations but I'm basically there (just confirmed dj and uplighting)
Have the rings
No alterations needed for my dress
When should the guys go in for the suits? Food is potluck
Officiant is moved and cake has been moved.
Anything else I am missing? It's almost 3months now not 4..

Wow, everything happens for a reason I guess! Sounds like your got everything in track, although if it were me I would send the boys soon for their suits! Do your hair trial in the last 4-6 weeks so it dossnt change too much before the big day. Marriage license can be do e a month before, so you have some time still. How exciting!

Ohhh yeah!!! I'll be honest, my family and I had quite the conversation about that over one of our holiday dinners ... not funny, I know, but I just couldn't believe it still!!
It sounds like you're still on track! You can't get your marriage license yet anyways, the guys should go in about 2 months out (a little earlier if you want to be extra safe), I did my hair trial about 5 weeks out, so my hair was most like what it will be on the day, and you've moved your vendors!
I applaud you on your ability to adapt. I would have had a kinipshit flip-out!! Best of luck!!!

As much as that sucks that something like that could happen - I guess the whole FIL fishing thing won't be a problem and you won't have him as a negative Nancy?
As long as you go through all your vendors and make sure they have the new date then I would say you're doing great! Make sure that if you already booked some days off of work that you change the days though!
