Preferably someone who is experienced with a more natural look- I think the dark smoky eye makeup looks awesome on a lot of people, just not me and looks overly heavy/made up on my face because of my facial features and eye shape.
I very much like the natural/ glowy look with minimal eyeshadow or some lighter coloured eye makeup (see pics!) I know the make up is very simple looking and I actually almost wondered if I should just attempt it myself, but because I wear any makeup usually except for eyebrow pencil, I am hesitant about doing a first attempt on such an important day.. also I would think (hope) that professionally done makeup would last the whole day as needed through ceremony, photography, etc.
We are traveling from Canada to San Diego for our wedding so don't know the area very well. I have combed through the internet but am coming up short in finding a makeup artist whose photos/portfolio seem ideally suited to the type of look I want . I would very much appreciate if anyone had any suggestions for suitable makeup artists in this area?
