Any other dark palette brides?

We're getting married on Friday September 13th 2019 and have FINALLY settled on a colour scheme! We are both really dark, moody people. We have a huge love of horror, gore, Halloween and pretty much anything like it. This is my second marriage and the first time we did a Halloween wedding so we needed to stay away from that specifically this time, but still wanted something to represent us as a couple. So what's the next best thing? Friday the 13th! We can have an elegant looking affair with a nice, subtle nod to our horror obsession!

Anyone else doing anything like this? What's your theme? How does it represent you both?

    Our colours are black and gold with some nude tones to lighten a touch. Our table cloths will be black sequins though which really gives the room that dark dramatic look. I love it!

    ❤️ Dark and moody(exactly how I want photos to come out)...totally me! Although my FH is not at all haha I ended up choosing gold, navy blue and dusty rose.

    We're doing charcoal, burgunday and silver, with pops of champagne as an accent!

    (This is actually my desktop background at work too for inspiration haha!)

    We are doing a space themed wedding! The only thing different is add in gold accents!

    Thanks! Took a while but once we shook off the "this isn't what our families want" fog it got A LOT easier! Now it's a lot more us.

    I haven't thought too much about it yet passed that I want the flowers in white pumpkins and I'm going to drizzle red wax down the sides to be peeking out from under the greenery to look like blood drips. Think I'll find a tiny horror themed charm to hang off my bouquet. We do a horror movie every night of October so while we are watching I'm going to listen to the music and see if I can find anything to use for the ceremony walks, too.

    I saw this and thought Friday the 13th too! Glad you were able to decide on colours/theme! Any ideas of how you are going to be tying in the theme yet?!

    Ohh I love orange! It's my favourite colour. I can't wait to see pics of your wedding! Love the colour combo.

    I love how you are taking red and green and making it NOT Christmas! I didn't think it was possible but now that you mention Friday the 13th and horror movies I can totally look at those colours and see Freddy Krueger!

    (My colour scheme is just my favourite colour and my FH's favourite colour with a colour in the middle to blend them for a fall wedding - plum, teal, orange or red)
