Any Gamer Brides out there? If so what are you planning?

Gamers here too!! Plus my fiancee is a cosplayer. We want to tie gaming and/or cosplay in somehow, we just haven't figured out how yet!

Omigosh a zelda themed wedding would be bomb!!! I'd love to see pictures of it after your wedding if you do! A toon Link and Zelda topper would be so adorable!!

My FH is a gamer and i'm not a fan...I also know that the majority of the guests on my side would not get the reference.

We are using a bunch of video game music while people are getting seated before the ceremony. Mostly zelda songs haha. Also the skyrim theme. And a bunch of movies instrumental versions!

My fiance and I are huuuge nerds! We bonded over video games, we go to cons every year.... and we are MASSIVE Pop Vinyl collectors!

I hand made the below Pop Vinyls of us for an Anniversary gift before! I'm going to make new ones of us in Wedding gear to be our Cake toppers!

We're having a space/galaxy themed wedding so I'm sure we'll pop some Star Wars things in!

I would love the bartenders to wear storm trooper helmets haha!

Our cake topper is going to be us playing our PS4s, we have one each lol we aren't having a gaming themed wedding though just doesn't work with our venue (a barn)

Ahh! I should put you in contact with my sister! Maybe I'll make her make an account on here... Haha. She's a Twitch streamer, plays Overwatch, Zelda, etc.

I think picking classic colours from your favourite games (blues, greens, etc) could be a classy way to start your theme.

You can do table names instead of table numbers for your favourite characters/locations. I always think of games as a bit more mystical, so you could do a signature cocktail that looks like health potions... using moss/greenery will definitely go with a Zelda theme!

I wouldn't go too cheesy, because you might lose some of your guests that don't get it... but definitely find a "wedding version" of your favourite traits from the games.
