All The Small Things - Shortest guest distance traveled

My FH's cousin lives a 5 min walk from the golf course we are getting married at

One of the girls on my FHs side lives on the same road as the reception.

My parents just up the hill. We're quite fortunate because a lot of our guests are travelling in for the wedding.

Quite a few! Our venue is in our city where most of the guests live. So I would imagine for a few it would be <5 minutes drive.

One subway stop. We have a decent number of guests who live right downtown so there are quite a few who live nearby

My parents! specifically my dad i guess, but they’re both close

My brother and his family. The venue is just down the street from where we all live, about a 10 minute walk.

Probably my best friend! Most of my other family/friends are coming from west of the city; she's the most east.

His parents... they live about 5 min from our venur

Probably my (ex) Stepmother since she lives downtown and our venue is 5 mins from her!

That would be split between two of my friends, who live in a town close to the venue!

Most of our guests will have a 20 minute bus ride, if we don't count some of their flights in to town!

Our family friends’ parents who we’re close with. They live a total of 5 minutes from the venue. My parents and my family friends are next living a total of 7 minutes away 😂

My in laws live walking distance from the church does that count? Haha!

The handful of guests that actually live in London have the shortest commute to get to the venue. Our officiant actually lives the closest out of everyone lol

My FHs aunt and uncle! They live right down the street from the venue!

My friend lives about 20 blocks from our venue so she was the closest.

Not counting us who live about a 15 min walk away it might be my fiancé’s second cousin who lives in Toronto

We are getting married about 4 hours away from where we live. That’s the shortest distance and for most of our guests it’s the same. Although some are coming from pretty far to join us (Ontario)

My mom. she's about 5 mins from the venue

The nearest person to the venue and reception hall is about 2 km away! 65% of our guests are in the same city, another 25% are between 1.5-3 hours away, and the rest are scattered throughout Canada and the US.

We are getting married in the Markham/Concord area, and almost everyone lives in the GTA. I guess our friends in Etobicoke have the shortest distance to go, only 10 minutes from their house to the church and hall.

I have a few family members who live in the same city that the ceremony and reception will be held in. The rest of the immediate family is about 15-20mins away

Our wedding is in Chatham and all our family is from Windsor, London and the Amherstburg area..so all kinda the same distance..there is no one guest who has the stortest travel. Definitely not us since we are coming from BC..

This one is actually hilarious since if you base it from the ceremony, it’s my friend Stacy (she lives a 2 minute walk from the ceremony location), but if it’s from our reception, then probably FH and myself. Overall to both is definitely FH and me lol.

I mean... I guess technically my sister because she lives closest to the perimeter so she will have the shortest drive being 45 minutes as compared to everybody else? The longest on the other hand is like 5.5 hours! lol unless my cousin who lives in BC makes it out for the wedding.

All but 3 guests will be coming from abroad.

I've known one of the women through our family businesses, and we got to know her good friend when we travelled to Victoria last April, and have asked her to join us for the celebration.

The third is high-school classmate who recently moved to Victoria. We keep in touch through social media, and meet up whenever one of is in Toronto or Victoria. We're not super close, but it seemed wrong to have a mini hs reunion and not have her be a part of it, so we invited her.
