Your wedding photographer is responsible for documenting the most important moments of your wedding day. You'll want to make sure your styles, personalities, and ideas work well together, and you'll need to agree on a plan for the day to ensure you end up with photos you'll love. We have a series of questions to help make sure you get the most amazing pictures possible to hang on the wall and put in your wedding album!

A relatively new tradition, many couples are choosing to see each other before the ceremony in order to spend a special intimate moment together before the ceremony, and to have the opportunity to take more gorgeous photos! Will you take first look photos?

We debated but, unfortunately, with our timeline we have no choice. I'm happy as I wanted first look pics. I want that emotion to be captured without anyone else around. I also wanted the time to get rid of wedding jitters. My FH wanted to wait, he wanted to see me for the first time as I walk down the aisle. He's ok with the first look but it wasn't his first choice

We’re doing what our photographer calls a “no look first look.” We want to meet around a corner or between a door to talk to each other and pray together before the ceremony, but I don’t want him to see me before I walk down the aisle. But our photographer will get pictures!

Absolutely not. I don’t really like the idea of it. I prefer the traditional concept of seeing each other as I walk down the aisle!

We are doing first look - with a helicopter! We weren’t going to do first look, but the only time available for the helicopter to a mountain top was at 2 (ceremony at 4). So he will remain blindfolded until we get up top!

We will be doing a first look and we're both really excited. This way we have our moment together and intimately. Then we can get some of that anxiety and nervousness out of the day for the ceremony and enjoy the moment rather than be too anxious or overwhelmed with emotion.

I would have loved to do first look photos but my fiancé said that the first time he sees me he wants to see me walk down. He wants that shock and awe feeling. How can I take that away from him.
