Your wedding photographer is responsible for documenting the most important moments of your wedding day. You'll want to make sure your styles, personalities, and ideas work well together, and you'll need to agree on a plan for the day to ensure you end up with photos you'll love. We have a series of questions to help make sure you get the most amazing pictures possible to hang on the wall and put in your wedding album!

    We had won a contest before we booked her and I am going to see how they turn out before I book the day of. I thought due to how expensive she was that she would be a lot for engagement and asked her to take out of package and was hardly anything

    Our wedding is in August, and we should have done them already - but I’m not comfortable or happy with the way I look so I’m working my ass off to get in shape 🙈

    Yes it was included in the package! We are doing it in may so it is a year before the wedding. However, a good family friend also does photography, so we did an engagement shoot with her as well this past October!

    We're getting married in my hometown, and we are 18 hours away and FH has a heptic work schedule. So we'll have one photographer do engagement shoots and another one for the wedding.

    We did! The engagement photos were included in our package, and they strongly suggested it - a great way to get used to your photographers, and it gets you looking forward to the day-of pictures!

    No. We aren't huge fans of engagement shoots. Plus, we live too far away to do it. Our photographer (and wedding) is in Ottawa/Gatineau and we live in Calgary. We don't plan on going back anytime soon, so we decided not to do it.
