All about the venue - Does your venue have a list of approved vendors you have to use?

No, we got to choose whoever we liked as vendors.

Not at all. They helped us pick out a good DJ and decorator, but that's because we asked. I like that they've worked with certain people before and they know that they are reliable. We have to use their food services, but part of the reason I chose the venue was because I like their food.

Ours gave us a list but its just for discounts! we dont have to use them if we dont want too!

Nope, except for we have to use their food services. They have options for everything from pizza to 5 course meals and are really good about allergies, so I feel good about the decision.

We have to use their food services, which is fine since we aren’t doing supper only midnight lunch. But otherwise we can use venders of our choosing. Though our DJ is their preferred DJ so we got a discount for using him.

Nope. Because we are just renting the space we can use anyone we want!!

They have a list of their preferred vendors but we don’t have to use them. The only thing is we need to pay a plug in fee for our DJ.

The only vendors that you have to hire from a required list are valet and a vinyl dance floor and we are not having either. they do have a suggested vendors list too of vendors that you do not have to use, but that they have worked with frequently.

Our venue does have a list of preferred vendors which helped a lot. We picked our photographer from that list and we got a good deal!
They do welcome any other vendors so we could pick whatever we wanted. If we picked from their list many of the vendors offered discounts

Nope! We can pick whoever we want but they are 45 min. out of the city so it really depends how much we want to spend on travel...
