All about catering - Will you surprise your guests with a late night snack?

Joey, on May 6, 2019 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 32

This week we're talking about food, glorious food! Will you serve a special snack to fuel some extra late night dancing? Will you call in a food truck, a DIY station, your favorite bar snack, or something sweet? Or are you skipping the late night snack trend and keeping the catering budget focused on the main meal?

The venue was great to have this part of the deal. We chose assorted sandwiches and wraps, platters of veggies and fruits.

We are serving a roast pig with rolls and different sauces. It's a tradition in the Philippines to have a roast pig at a wedding and it's pretty common in the South too! Will definitely make all our guests feel at home 🧡 we'll also be opening up our dessert table which features 5 dessert - bubble tea inspired macarons is definitely my favourite!

It's not a surprise at this point hahaha.

Weather permitting, the venue will tend to a fire pit, where we'll be able to roast sausages and smores.

Yes! We have 2 choices for late night buffet. So we have picked McDonald’s cheese burgers and junior chickens. Then deciding between a s’mores bar or a nacho bar. We want something different than the usual pizza and chocolate fountain

We are planning on bringing out a diy taco bar as a late night snack!
We're hoping to have all our guests stick around to do a sparkler exit at 11:11 so feeding them again after dinner is a must!

We are absolutely having a late-night savory station! Haven't decided what yet but our venue's in-house catering has a lot of great options like a dumpling bar, taco bar, gourmet pizza, and duck bar!

We have a late night wood burning custom pizza stand for our wedding. I think having a little greasy food with carbs will help those who have gotten into too much alcohol lol

We were thinking that the s'mores will be a surprise (that is kind of expected with bonfires), but also maybe Ukrainian food and/or ribbon sandwiches.
