We want to choose hors d'oeuvres that are different but that people will actually enjoy, so we aren't sure yet but we'll decide after our tasting in April

We are having cocktails and hors d'oeuvres! I have not received the seasonal menu yet so I am not sure what option I have yet. They will be passed around though.

We are so excited for ours! Our wedding is strictly vegan and our caterer was so excited for the challenge. We are having fresh tomato + cucumber gazpacho, vegan gyoza, and eggplant caponata with crostini!

We haven't finalized our food selection yet either. We'll definitely have a bunch of hors d'oeuvres going around.

We don’t have our tasting and submit our food choices until Octoberish, but based on the list of what they offer we’re thinking of bruschetta, beef sliders, veggie samosas and veggie springrolls

We’re having an antipasto bar, we don’t finalize our menu until next year ...but I assume a variety of meats, cheese, salads, etc. Is what I’m expecting

We have upgraded our package at the venue to include a full antipasto bar. FH is Italian and he said that a wedding isn’t complete without the antipasto. He also loves all the stuff that the venue puts out for it. Plus my favourite is their seafood salad! Literally could eat the whole bowl of that on our wedding day

We're having an antipasto hour, and I actually think the food selection sounds better than the plated dinner: spicy green olives in olive oil, vegetable giardiniera, Bocconcino, marinated mushrooms, Sundried tomatoes, chick pea salad, pasta salad primavera, grilled and marinated eggplant, artichoke hearts salad, tomato salad, sliced beets, marinated string eggplant, grilled and marinated red and yellow peppers, hearts of palm salad, grilled and marinated zucchini, pizza and Focaccia, frittata, sausage and antipasto di mare...

There will be display platters of Prosciutto, assorted cheeses, cold cuts, smoked salmon mirror and grand wheel of Parmigiano cheese, plus hot dishes: Trippa picante, pasta e faggioli and mussels alla Mariana, as well as fried shrimp and calamari.

Can't wait for this! Going to be a butlered cocktail hour with champagne and hors d'oeuvres outside right after the ceremony. Not 100% sure what specifically the food will be yet.

I retract that. We didn’t serve food during our cocktail hour. Our cocktail hour was short

NOTHING! lol, no cocktail hour at all! We will have first look photo's and then as many family pics as we can get out of the way before the ceremony. Then after we say I do - it's at the same place so I figure it will take maybe 15-20 for people to all grab a drink and find their seat while we grab a few sunset pics as well as well as sign the papers in a cabin.
