Buffet, but some plates will be served up and set aside for allergies before serving. Our venue/caterer is amazing :-)

Plated dinner. people will have a menu card at their seat and get to place an order to a server.. there's a few options to choose from on the menu card.

We are having a plated dinner! We originally were going to do the buffet style, but it ended up costing a lot more.

Our venue is a restaurant and only does plated, but that's what we wanted. There will be a cocktail hour and salad will be served family style at each table. We will also have a late-night table of either sweets or savory dishes.

Buffet!! We had a number of picky eaters or those with food aversions and allergies so buffet was a great way for us to provide different options.

BUFFET! 100%! As much as my mom didn't want buffet it was never a question in my mind. Honestly I have never been blown away by served dishes... always comes kinda cold... and meh! Buffet we have SOOOO MANY OPTIONS and you can have as much or as little as you want! Takes a bit more time to get served and seated but for the quality and assortment it's worth it!

Plated service was offered by our venue and worked out great not having to move and wine service too while the bar was closed for the dinner portion.

We're doing a food truck for our mains! It's even named after our city which is a huge part of my wedding. We'll be serving Filipino and Korean dishes - I'm Filipino and most of our guests don't know too much about my culture so we're excited to serve it Korean food because its SO delicious and it's one of our favourite cuisines. There are quite a few options to chose from and guests can go back for seconds.

We are going family style on some very long tables- 20 seats on each side.

We are doing plated style. We went to a wedding that was doing a buffet style and it got very out of hand so we wanted to avoid that for sure.

For a wedding I prefer plated. My parents did stations for theirs and I had too much to carry plus worry about stepping on my dress.
This way guests can enjoy socializing with their table and having food brought to them
