Advice? Late invitations

Lauren, on January 30, 2020 at 00:27 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 6
Hello ladies!
Wondering what would be good etiquette. I’ve been having a hard time getting in touch with our priest to confirm the ceremony time (so we can print out our invitations and send them!) It’s been almost 2 weeks and I’ve called and left messages 6 times and sent an email.
Our wedding date is 3 months out. We sent save the dates to most people (mainly out of town guests or those who may want to hire a babysitter). I’m hoping to confirm time asap, but should we send out an email to guests with details or hold our horses a bit longer? Thanks! Hope you’re all having a fun time with planning Smiley heart

I agree with the others, I would go there directly for an answer. For all you know he may be on sick leave or something!! Wouldn't want a big surprise to hit you.

I would go in person to the parish office. Your priest might be away doing church work - our priest goes away to South America and comes back THE DAY BEFORE our wedding!! Ahh!!

Definitely go in person to the parish office - they would have a calendar and be able to tell you the time.

Does the parish have an office? The secretary may have your wedding in the calendar and be able to tell you without having to chase the priest

The priest seems busy he can't make time to get back to you and that doesn't seem good as for timing to know on your end. Go in person instead and talk to him directly.
