Acreage wedding

Hello,

we we are getting married next summer and my cousin offered out his acreage. Just wonder if anyone is planning an acreage wedding and can tell me what costs I’m expecting. I know I will need to rent a tent and flushable washrooms.

    Rentals for tables and everything to go with the table setting. Centerpeices, gift table, cake table, and head table. Skirting for the tables. Backdrop and lighting. Chair covers. Buffet chaffeurs rentals and fuel gel.

    We have a backyard wedding and i think youve covered most of the expenses...

    The only thing i can think to add is lighting!

    Don't forget cost of a generator or something for power for the DJ/lighting/kitchen if there isn't power available.

    Hey Kelsey,

    Our wedding is on a farm this coming September - here is some of the expenses we have had to include in our budget:

    - Tent

    - If you want a dance floor - you may be able to rent one - we opted for a rustic dance floor made out of pallets and plywood to cut costs

    - Tables and Chairs

    - Linens

    - Plates, Bowls, Cutlery

    - Glassware

    - Porta-Potties - these were included with our venue thankfully!

    - Heaters for the tent - if yours is in the summer, you may not need!

    I think this has been the majority of our rentals - if I think of anything else, I will let you know!!
