2019 Brides!

Decided on our wedding date of July 3, 2019. We have a venue viewing tomorrow. Going to take a look at Oakwood Resort in Grand Bend. Super excited! Anyone have any experience with them?

So far we have venue booked and i picked my dress! (Haha so esrly I know. But i loved it! It will arrive in the salon around june this year) In process of choosing a photographer...we're meeting two today!

I'm getting married June 1, 2019 in Whitby, Ontario (Ashburn).

We pretty much have all our vendors already (photographer, DJ, officiant, MUA) and my dress! Super excited.

Where are you getting married?

I've found my dress and veil already, the only alterations needs to be done to the dress is to take the straps off I don't like and maybe take it in if I lose weight. Besides that it fits like a glove!😁😀 so.excited!

Anyone know of any photographers in the Sudbury Ontario area that doesn't cost over 1000$ for 8.hour sessions??

I’m getting married May 4th, 2019 in Six Nations, Ontario! So far I’ve got a photographer and a venue. Going to try on dresses next week!

Who did you choose for your officiant?

I am getting married on August 17th, 2019 at Gatineau, QC. I had purchased my dress and will get it by end of May. I had also put down payment for the wedding hall, photographer and makeup artists. The rest can wait until next year

All of my stationary is from Etsy too, using paint the day designs for it.

Ooh I just did a quick google search - the Lamplight Inn is beautiful. You will have to be sure to share some of your pictures after the big day!

I have done quite a bit of planning already, as my and my FH have been dating for 11 years. We sort of just mutually chose a date and I started planning. I have booked our Venue (Cardinal Golf Club), as well as our Photographer, our Officiant, a Violinist for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and a Hair and Makeup artist for me and my bridesmaids. My cake is coming from a bakery we found in Burlington, and our flowers are being handled by floral studio I have been working with for my future brother and sister in-law who are getting married this August in Mount Albert, ON. All I need to arrange still is a DJ for our reception that will fit within our budget. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear from you!

My invitations and stationary I am ordering online from Minted and my place cards and table numbers and other table decor is coming from Etsy.

I just wish it wasnt over a year away still lol

Congrats! I am getting married May 11, 2019 in Windsor, Ontario. I’ve already gotten a lot planned! I just picked out my dress last weekend as well so that was exciting. I think all I have left planning wise is centre pieces and some decor like a card box (I’m doing my own decorations). I’m blanking on everything else. I do have some decor already, I obviously have my dress now, and I have accessories for the dress (I’m opting for a jeweled headband rather than a veil), I have my hall, meal, officiant, music, invitations (there was a sale) and photographer all done. I figured it was better to get it all done soon so I can enjoy the rest of the engagement with no stress!
