We did find the perfect cake topper the other day and it was on clearance for only $3. We are just having a small cake for us and cupcakes for everyone else.

No cake so no accessories needed.

Oh and I got special plates and forks that say I Do on them just for us !!!

We have our cake topper and flowers for the wedding cake. For the groom's cake I got a little Mario and Princess Peach figurine in their wedding clothes to put on it because our cake baker is going to make it look like Nintendo switch.

Yes we did and it was a nice knife set given by a co worker at the time.

I don't think we'll have a topper but we're for sure having some fresh flowers on it. It will probably be on a wood slice unless anything else catches my eye. Our venues provides cutting tools, linens, and votives but I will order some artificial greenery to add to the table.

We are renting the cake stand from the same place we are getting the cake and we have picked a cake topper we just need to order it.

We got our cake topper. We are doing cupcake tiers and a small on tier cake at the top and we are getting the cake/cupcake stand custom made for it. Luckily the one doing all of that stand and cakes is family so we don't have to pay for anything! We don't need a fancy cake cutting set because it will just be cut and served we are not doing the cake cutting tradition.

I have just started the cake stuff. I have contacted a couple bakers to see what prices would be. I know what cake topper I want to buy.

We haven't decided if we want to get our own cake cutting stuff, or just borrow the ones from our venue. Hopefully this will all start coming together once we have a cake baker!

I want to say that I put this question first because I forgot ALL OF THIS for my wedding! I was going to use my parents' cake topper, and I left that at their house. And I had a cake serving set that I wanted to use, but I didn't leave myself enough time to find it (it was in storage in my parents' basement because I was living abroad at the time of the wedding). So this one is really important to me! Even though I had pie instead of cake I really wish I was better prepared for this - don't repeat my mistakes!

I have my topper and we are renting our stand from the baker. We're using my fiance's grandfather's ceremonial army sword to cut the cake, but we don't have the server or the little plate and forks for when we feed each other the first pieces.

Well, we are going to do cupcakes and my FH is supposed to build the stands. He hasn’t even started yet lol. Ugh, so stressful lol

I have nothing cake related yet!! I've been browsing online but I've got time and I don't even have a cake to put it on yet so I'm not too worried. Worst thing that would happen is we buy one in store and pay $$ for a generic one. Not that bad.
