We are both born in Canada, but my parents are from South Korea, and Gil's parents are from Ghana. I'm originally from Edmonton, where we live, so it is easy for Gil to meet all my friends and family. I recently went to Ghana to meet his parents and family. He officially popped the question while we were there on New Year's morning. What a great way to start the year! We are so happy to marry both our cultures, backgrounds, and friends and families together and start a new life!
