Your wedding in numbers! How many venues did you visit before choosing yours?

Went to 6 in total , 3 country club style & 3 hotels. Finally made a decision on the 1st hotel we 1st hotel we looked at.

About three in person. I saw some via video call with my mom.

We went to 4 venues

Went to 3 venues back to back and made a decision the same day

No visits at all, in fact! I already knew the places and the plan! All he had to do was ask!

This was the one and only venue we looked at! He’s a big golfer and he really wanted it at his favourite golf course!

Actually it was the only venue we looked at. I’d messaged so many but no one was answering or they were just way out of budget. These guys got back to us the same day

Trying to book a place from Europe is difficult. We aren't able to personally visit any location, so I have ask my aunt for support. She will visit the one location we've fallen in love with and let is know if she thinks we can make it work.

None! We researched heavily before going to look at the venue we picked. As soon as we walked into the space, we new it was the right space for us!

Only 2. I wanted to get married in the mountains, but FH wanted to stay close to home. There were really only 2 options that we liked so it made the choice easy.

Ceremony site was a bit tricky - we are getting married at a waterfall - so we looked all over southern Ontario for the perfect one and when we finally found it, the first reception venue we checked out was the one!

We only viewed our venue, as we decided we had waited long enough to start planning and decided on it 11 months before the date. There were only two days available in July so we figured there wouldn’t be much else available and it was cheap

Technically 2. We visited one in Arizona before we were engaged, but only one in town after the engagement. We decided it would be local, and thanks to WeddingWire, I was able to pre-screen dozens of venues before we made an appointment to go see any.

We loved ours as soon as we saw it, no need to confuse the situation further!

I have quoted about 6 but we are only viewing one and have already decided on it due to location and the accommodations right there. It also includes all tables, chairs, cutlery, plates

We are planning our wedding from Australia, so we didn't visit any venues! lots of e-mail communications to around 10 places before deciding!
