Okay I added some things into my vows. Is this better?

"A word is dead When it is said, Some say.
I say it just Begins to live That day."

Today that word is no other word than love. It will forever be on our tongues always looking to escape.And I vow to always stand by your side promising to make you laugh. Watching your lips curl into the sweetest of smiles rivaled only by our daughters, even then though she stole that smile from you. Hearing love roll off your tongue makes my heart swell , pressure escaping only through my tears of happiness. Vowing to always be there when you need me no matter the issue and to always be honest and loyal. Without you I am only half of a whole separated by a force unknown. So let's promise begin that word's life every minute of every day and let it enjoy as many adventures as we have and are destined to continue to forever. I love you.

I agree with everyone here! These are very beautiful and poetic! You can tell you have put a lot of thought an love into them!

I do agree as well though to add in a few promises to the vows as well, as they are vows! I vow to... I promise to....

These are awesome vows! Very thoughtful and loving. I do agree that you should add some promises and actual vows for the future in there too.

These are gorgeous and poetic and you can tell they come from the heart.

Vows can really be whatever you like, and this works in my opinion! The only thing I might add is some 'vows' or 'promises'. Typically vows are to be about the things you promise to do or uphold in your marriage. But you don't have to do that either.
